Ferromatik Milacron India drives import substitution with new products
Janaury 8, 2014: Ferromatik Milacron India (FMI), which manufactures plastics injection moulding machines and blow moulding machines and also supplies to 40 countries globally, has reported that it showcased its latest products at last month’s 9th Plastivision India 2013 held in Mumbai.
Janaury 8, 2014: Ferromatik Milacron India (FMI), which manufactures plastics injection moulding machines and blow moulding machines and also supplies to 40 countries globally, has reported that it showcased its latest products at last month’s 9th Plastivision India 2013 held in Mumbai.
With a focus on import substitution, FMI demonstrated three injection molding machines, each aimed at high output and productivity, for the first time in India for stack mould in thin wall and two-component moulding. This technology was supplied from Europe until now and FMI is now offering an Indian processor with India-built machine.
Established in 1995, FMI’s product range includes injection moulding machines from 50 tonnes to 3,200 tonnes. It has a manufacturing capacity of 2,000 machines per annum and sales and service offices in major cities and industrial towns of the country.
