Escorts displays European 4x4 Farmtrac Heritage Series at Agrotech

Escorts Ltd today showcased the European version of its world-class new Farmtrac 6050 4x4, a part of Heritage tractor series which offers safe haulage operations even in extreme conditions with extra power, style and comfort.

The same series of tractors was displayed at Agritechnica, the world’s biggest exhibition for agricultural machinery and equipment, at Hanover, Germany, earlier this year. The Heritage Series of tractor is built in collaboration with Escorts’ subsidiary in Poland and has received European Certification. The company says it has received a good number of trade enquires in Europe and the company is eyeing the same from the market in Punjab.

Showcasing the Farmtrac 6050 4x4 tractor in its non-cabin version at the Agrotech in Chandigarh, Escorts has brought the 4x4 technology of high-end cars to tractors for Indian farmers. Championing traction over brute power and riding high on fine-tuned drawbar horse power, Farmtrac 6050 4x4 comes with improved productivity and safety. Delivering extra traction with better economics, this tractor is claimed to be most suitable for all kind of agricultural and commercial haulage and multiple hard soil farm application

Handing over the keys of Farmtrac 6050 4x4 tractors to some Punjab farmers at the ongoing Agrotech 2014 exhibition in Chandigarh, S Sridhar, CEO, Escorts Agri Machinery, said: “Escorts believes that Indian farmers deserve the world’s best farm mechanization solutions and the 4x4 technology is a part of that. The developed world has 4x4 tractors ruling 80 percent of the market and we do not find any reason why should India be any different. Punjab farmers have always shown the way by being early adopters of innovative technologies. With trend setting consumption and higher per capita income, Punjab has always shown inclination for higher horsepower machines.”
