Eicher Trucks & Buses drops prices by up to 5% on entire product range

Following implementation of GST on July 1, the CV maker has cut prices from 1.5 percent up to 5 percent, model-wise and state-wise.

Eicher Trucks & Buses has cut prices on its entire product range following implementation of GST. The price reductions vary from 1.5 percent up to 5 percent, model-wise and state-wise.  

Commenting on the price reduction, Vinod Aggarwal, MD and CEO, VE Commercial Vehicles, said, “The GST is the biggest tax reform that we have witnessed and will bring in a lot of efficiencies and productivity benefits. The immediate impact is some reduction in taxes on an average basis. We have passed on the expected benefits from the new tax regime to the customers. The reduction in prices ranges from 1.5 percent to 5 percent for most of the product categories’.

Eicher Trucks & Buses (ETB) is present in the L/MD segment with a strong presence in the 4T-15T truck segment and an increasing market share in the 16T-49T heavy duty trucks segment. Its new Eicher Pro series of future generation trucks and buses offer, according to the company, best-in-class fuel efficiency, higher loading capacity, superior uptime and overall vehicle lifetime profitability.
