Duster powers Renault India’s sales of 8,232 units in March 2013

Chennai, April 1, 2013: Renault India has posted an all-time sales high of 8,232 units in March 2013, an eight-fold increase year-on-year (March 2012: 1,005 units).

Chennai, April 1, 2013: Renault India has posted an all-time sales high of 8,232 units in March 2013, an eight-fold increase year-on-year (March 2012: 1,005 units). The popular Duster SUV was the biggest seller, accounting for 6,313 units, followed by the Scala (1,026), Pulse (541), Fluence (337) and Koleos (15).

“March was a tremendously successful month for Renault India, despite a challenging market,” said Sumit Sawhney, executive, marketing & sales, Renault India. “Not only did we achieve overall record-breaking sales, but we also surpassed our benchmarks for the Duster, Fluence and Scala, which is indicative of the continuing appeal and acceptability of our products among customers.”
