Defiance Tech re-appoints Subu D Subramanian as MD and CEO

Defiance Technologies, which provides design, engineering and emerging technology services and solutions to the automotive industry, has announced that it has re-appointed Subu D Subramanian as MD and CEO effective immediately.

Defiance Tech re-appoints Subu D Subramanian as MD and CEO

Defiance Technologies, which provides design, engineering and emerging technology services and solutions to the automotive industry, has announced that it has re-appointed Subu D Subramanian as MD and CEO effective immediately. Subu had earlier been with Defiance from its inception in 2009 to September 2013.

Commenting on the appointment, Dheeraj Hinduja, chairman, Defiance Technologies, said: “I am delighted to welcome Subu back to Defiance. Subu brings in deep expertise in creating enterprise scale businesses in the technology space. I am sure that under his leadership Defiance will march towards the next phase of growth at a rapid pace.”

“I thank the Board for entrusting me with this responsibility. My immediate focus is to work closely with our customers to understand their needs and challenges and provide superior solutions leveraging our capabilities in the automotive and manufacturing domain,” said Subu.  

Subu, who has worked in the manufacturing and IT services industry in the US, Europe and India for over 27 years, has played multiple roles at Tata Consultancy Services  and led the manufacturing and automotive verticals of Satyam Computer Services (now Tech Mahindra) before he took over as founding MD and CEO of Defiance in 2009.
