DB Schenker appoints Oliver Bohm as CEO in India
In his new assignment in India, Oliver Bohm will be responsible for the overall country management and growth of the Indian subsidiary of global logistics giant DB Schenker.
Oliver Bohm has been appointed the new CEO of Schenker India. The logistics company is part of DB Schenker, the transport and logistics division of Deutsche Bahn AG in Germany. Oliver Bohm has assumed the position on August 1, 2015, and replaces Reiner Allgeier who is taking another appointment within the DB Schenker network.
Oliver Bohm has more than 27 years of experience as a business leader in numerous roles and has held various leadership positions with DB Schenker in the Asia Pacific region and globally. Before taking up his role in India, he held the responsibility of vice-president - Sales & Key Account Management in the Regional Head Office at Singapore.
In his new assignment in India, Mr Bohm will be responsible for the overall country management and growth of the Indian subsidiary of global logistics giant DB Schenker. “Oliver comes with outstanding credentials especially as a business leader and people’s manager,” said Jochen Thewes, CEO of DB Schenker Asia Pacific. ”He brings a commitment to growth for DB Schenker and continues to build the company’s momentum in India with his intensive experience in global businesses.”
