Change of guard at Nissan India

Nissan Motor India MD and CEO, Kiminobu Tokuyama, is headed back to Japan following the end of his tenure in India.

Nissan Motor India MD and CEO, Kiminobu Tokuyama, is headed back to Japan following the end of his tenure in India on March 23. Tokuyama has been the Chief Executive Officer and MD of Nissan Motor India since January 2009. He oversaw the launch of both the Micra hatchback and Sunny saloon, and also the development of the company’s manufacturing plant at Oragadam, near Chennai.

Takayuki Ishida, a senior member from Nissan’s China team, will be taking over from Tokuyama.
