Ceat India launches SecuraDrive tyres for sedans

Domestic tyre manufacturer Ceat today launched its new high speed range of the SecuraDrive tyres, which it says will cater to the premium sedan segment of cars in India.

The company says its SecuraDrive range, which has been successful in Europe, has been adapted to Indian conditions. It will be available in seven different sizes – 215/60R16, 205/55R16, 195/55R16 195/65R15, 185/60R15, 195/60R15, 175/65R15.

According to Ceat, SecuraDrive tyres are designed to provide a comfortable and safe driving experience at high speeds. The tyres feature wide longitudinal grooves for aquaplaning resistance and complete control over wet roads. The tyres have a new-generation compound that offers superior grip while the optimised tread pattern helps lower noise.

Commenting on the new tyres, Nitish Bajaj, senior vice-president, Marketing, Ceat Ltd, said: “We are pleased to announce the launch of our European range of Ceat SecuraDrive tyres in India. With these tyres, we hope to create a new benchmark in high-speed car tyre range. With exceptional braking on both wet and dry surfaces, we are sure the new range of SecuraDrive tyres will definitely become the first choice for those seeking superior control at high speeds."

Ceat SecuraDrive tyres are available at Ceat Shoppes, company dealers and distributors at key markets across the country.
