Bridgestone expands retail network in India

As part of its retail network expansion programme, tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has launched four exclusive Select Stores and two Concept Stores across India in March 2014. These stores drive an exclusive Bridgestone retail identity and sales in line with the company’s global retail philosophy along with a focus on safety, reliability and eco-friendliness. These stores, the company says, are manned by well-informed staff  who understand the nuances of consumer requirements.

While the Select Stores were launched at Aligarh, Greater Noida and Kurukshetra in north India, a Concept Store was opened in Ernakulam and a Select Store in Karur, both in the southern parts of the country. Bridgestone has also expanded operations to north-east India by inaugurating a Concept Store in Nagaland.

According to Vaibhav Saraf, general manager (Sales and Marketing), Bridgestone India, “In today’s extremely demanding situations, customers critically examine the offerings by manufacturers. At Bridgestone, our prime focus is to build and maintain an association with our customers and offer them the best products and services. These stores act as an advantage for Bridgestone India since these will not only enhance brand presence, but will create a strong retail identity and in the process will make Bridgestone products accessible to a much larger number of consumers.”

At present, Bridgestone has 330 Select Stores and 43 Concept stores across cities in India.
