Bosch Automotive Aftermarket opens multi-brand Express Bike Service Workshops for two-wheelers

July 09, 2012: Bosch Automotive Aftermarkets has announced its foray into multi-brand two-wheeler service centres. Ten EBS (Express Bike Service) outlets were inaugurated in Coimbatore.
EBS workshops aim to fill the large service network gap for two-wheelers in the country, which is the second largest in the world with over 8 crore two-wheelers on the road. Bosch has on offer a wide range of genuine two-wheeler parts, workshop equipment and services to the EBS concept and is targeting rapid expansion countrywide to achieve a minimum of 500 workshops within two years.
Bosch in India has among the largest service networks in technical unit repair (fuel Injection and automotive electrical systems) and car service space. In addition, it has over 2,000 authorised workshops.
S Muralidharan, vice-president (automotive aftermarket), Bosch Ltd, said: “With Bosch Car Service, Express Car Service and now Express Bike Service, Bosch has set new benchmarks in the service domain and we are planning aggressively to expand our footprint.”
