BMW today launched its 6 series Gran Turismo in Mumbai at Rs 58.90 lakh, and will be available in a locally produced petrol variant, with a diesel variant slated for launch later this year.

The luxury car will be available at Infinity Cars and Navnit Motors, dealership in Mumbai.

Vikram Pawah, president, BMW Group India, said, “It combines an exceptionally spacious interior with maximum comfort, without compromising on its trademark driving pleasure.”

The first-ever BMW 6 series Gran Turismo will be available in Alpine White (non-metallic paint) and in Glacier Silver and Mediterranean Blue (metallic paints). The company claims the spotlight is on the car’s dynamic character and the numerous trim elements in high-gloss black, special colours in the interior and sport leather steering.

The BMW 630i Gran Turismo comes with an elevated seat position, full-sized seats with generous legroom and headroom. It has optimised noise insulation, a two-part panorama glass roof, electrically operated adjustable rear seats with comfort cushions for the headrest and electrically operated sunblinds for the rear side window. The luggage compartment has a capacity of up to 1,800 litres thanks to 40/20/40 split and 610 litres of space with the rear seats up.

The new 6-series Gran Turismo is equipped with BMW gesture control, BMW display key, welcome light carpet, BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW EfficientDynamics and BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. The car will be available with BMW Service Inclusive and BMW Service Inclusive Plus along with BMW Repair Inclusive.
