BMW India grows sales network with new showroom in Chennai
Chennai, October 18, 2013: BMW India, which plans to expand its dealer network from the existing 37 outlets to 50 by the end of the year, has announced the opening of Kun Exclusive, its new showroom in Chennai.
Chennai, October 18, 2013: BMW India, which plans to expand its dealer network from the existing 37 outlets to 50 by the end of the year, has announced the opening of Kun Exclusive, its new showroom in Chennai. Headed by director Vasanthi Bhupati, Kun Exclusive is located at Express Avenue Mall, No 49, 50L Whites Road, Express Avenue.
Philipp von Sahr, president, BMW Group India, said: “The new facility is not merely an extension of our operations in Chennai but is a firm commitment to serve our customers. Our partnership with Kun Exclusive will allow us to consistently expand and strengthen our position in not just an important market but also in the home of BMW Plant in India.”
Spread over 3,014 square feet, the design of the showroom is based upon the Urban Street Display concept which is a signature BMW layout with sales lounges close to the display area. The showroom will display six cars. The showroom also features the vibrant Isetta bar, an inviting and engaging section where consultation can happen over a cup of coffee or a cold beverage.
Philipp von Sahr added, “BMW India has set a decisive course in India by setting up BMW dealerships of international standards across all metropolitan centres in India. We have set very high standards in service quality and customer care in India and our commitment to aggressively expand our operations in India will continue at a fast pace. By end of 2014, BMW India will aggressively expand its dealer network by increasing the number of sales outlets to 50 across major metropolitan centres and emerging markets from 37 at present.”
According to Kun Exclusive’s Vasanthi Bhupati, “Our partnership with BMW India started six years ago and the foundation of this association is based on bringing extremely high standards in sales and service of premium automobiles to India. Kun Exclusive represents BMW in Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu as well as Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. In addition to the new showroom, Kun Exclusive has a dealership at GST Road in Chennai.
For providing aftersales support to BMW customers, Kun Exclusive has two workshops located at GST Road and Ambattur. The company says its employees have received intensive training in sales, service, spare parts and business systems to ensure customers receive best-in-class pre- and post sales ownership experience. A team of sales and service engineers has also been trained at BMW’s training centers in Singapore, Malaysia and Germany.
