BGauss begins online bookings for its e-scooters, deliveries to begin in August

A month after announcing its foray into the nascent electric vehicle segment, Mumbai-headquartered RR Global, a conglomerate in the electrical industry, has started online bookings for its BGauss brand of e-two-wheelers.

The online booking have opened up for B8 in LI-technology, lithium-ion and lead-acid variants and A2 in lead-acid and lithium-ion variants. The pre-booking starts at Rs 3, 000. The company says the deliveries for the BGauss B8 and BGauss A2 will begin on from August 2020 starting with Pune, Navi Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

The e-scooters will have a price range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 90,000 and in terms of features, BGauss says it will offer removable battery, anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, LED Instrumental panel, multi-coloured digital display, DRL’s, keyless start, find your scooter, centralised seat lock, USB charging, reverse assist, side-stand sensor and 3 riding modes (low, mid, high). In addition, IoT feature will be available in the technology version, and each model comes with mobile app support.
