In a bid to drive its marketing strategy and brand-building program for its Balmerol range of lubricants, Balmer Lawrie today launched the new TechTonic Packs for diesel engine oils and 4T oils for the automotive sector, in Kolkata.
During the launch function, the revamped Balmerol logo, and newly developed technologies – Dekatrol for diesel engine oils and WOWtech for two-wheeler oils – were also introduced.
The company says the new TechTonic packaging symbolises the technological advancement achieved with the use of the Dekatrol and WOWtech technology. The company's R&D Centre developed the tribological solutions using Dekatrol technology which is claimed to have a 10-point advantage, is eco-friendly, helps reduce frictional energy losses, and enhances fuel economy as also the life of the product. The solutions are said to provide extra protection and act as a strong shield for the engine, clutch and gear.
Speaking on the occasion, Viren Sinha, chairman and managing director said the automotive retail business will continue to be the focus area, which will drive growth and profitability.
