Bajaj Pulsar 125 gets NS variant at Rs 93,690

In an effort to draw more buyers at an entry level, Bajaj Auto has launched the new Pulsar NS 125 in India, priced at Rs 93,690 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Pulsar NS 125 is an addition to the Pulsar ‘NS’ range and is targeted at young enthusiasts.

The Pulsar NS125 is powered by a 125cc BS6 DTS-i engine which develops 12 ps, the highest in its segment, and peak torque of 11 Nm. Bajaj Auto says the motorcycle’s perimeter frame offers high-stiffness and low flex for a sharp handling experience, while the Nitrox Mono-shock absorbers offer great stability even at high speeds.

According to Sarang Kanade, President - Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, “We are excited to bring the pedigree of the higher cc Pulsar NS series bikes for first-time performance riding enthusiasts. The new Pulsar NS 125 will appeal to a large segment of customers with its multiple class-leading features. The Pulsar 125 has been very well received by consumers and we are confident that the new NS 125 will further strengthen the brand’s position in the entry sport bike segment”.

The Pulsar NS series has carved a niche for itself in the overly competitive entry sport segment. The Pulsar NS 200 was launched as a new-age and stylish Pulsar with class-leading performance credentials. The NS 160 was added to the portfolio combining advanced features and stylish looks at a competitive cc and price point. The NS 125 combines these aspirational features, says the company.

In FY2021, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 18,09,375 units (-13%).
