After the Discover and Platina, Bajaj Auto has also gone ahead and equipped the CT model with its 115cc, single-cylinder, DTS-i engine, that produces 8.6 PS power and 9.81 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm.

The CT110 is slightly different from the CT100 when it comes to cosmetics as well, the bike now features a rubber tank-pad similar to the one found on the TVS Radeon. The engine, gearbox, fork and wheels have also been blacked-out on the new model. The images we have received reveal that the bike now has larger crash guards, rubber mirror covers, an upswept exhaust and thicker padding on the seat.

Bajaj has also equipped the CT110 with fork gaiters and interestingly, “semi-knobby” tyres, which the company claims will enable “a firm and stable grip on the toughest of roads”. Another small change is the marginal increase in ground clearance, taking the total to 170mm. The Bajaj CT110 will be available in three colours – Matte olive green (with yellow decals), Gloss ebony black (with blue decals) and Gloss flame red (with bright red decals).

Commenting on the launch of the new variant, Sarang Kanade, president - Motorcycle Business said, “The CT range was conceptualised for those customers who demand a robust bike at a reasonable price. Till date more than 50 lakh customers are riding the CT and appreciate it for its durability and outstanding mileage. We have continuously invested in the product both in terms of technology and style without losing the core value of delivering the 'Best Value Motorcycle' on the Indian roads. We believe that the tough new CT 110 provides an even better value with superior performance - a great combination of mileage and power - all at an attractive price.”

The CT110 is available in two variants, with price starting at Rs 37,997 for the Kick Start variant and Rs 44,480 for the electric start variant (ex-showroom Delhi).
