Baba Kalyani gets NITIE’s ‘Lakshya Business Visionary’ award

Mumbai, October 22, 2013: In recognition of his contribution to the Indian business landscape, Baba Kalyani, chairman and managing director of Bharat Forge, was today conferred with the prestigious ‘Lakshya Business Visionary Award’ by the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE).

Mumbai, October 22, 2013: In recognition of his contribution to the Indian business landscape, Baba Kalyani, chairman and managing director of Bharat Forge, was today conferred with the prestigious ‘Lakshya Business Visionary Award’ by the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE).

In an acceptance speech that was read out at the function, Kalyani said, “I am extremely thankful to NITIE for bestowing this honour upon me. Such honours have been a constant source of inspiration for me and my company”.

The ‘Visionary Award’ has historically been presented to prolific business tycoons including Adi Godrej, Ratan Tata, Rahul Bajaj, Azim Premji, Venu Srinivasan, Nandan Nilekani and Sunil Bharti Mittal who have changed the course of Indian business internationally, entirely on the merit of their exemplary vision and conviction to achieve excellence.
