Axalta Coating Systems gets excellence award from Volvo Bus in India

Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has won the ‘Volvo Bus Excellence Award’ in the ‘Delivery Excellence 2014’ category instituted by the Volvo Buses purchasing team in India. The award was presented to Axalta Coating Systems India during the Volvo Buses, India – Supplier Conference 2014 in December at Bangalore.

Axalta has partnered with Volvo Buses India since its inception in 2008. With skilled manpower and 24/7 service, Axalta says it has maintained a record of zero logistical and service issues registered with Volvo Buses to date.

According to VRV Sriprasad, managing director, Volvo Buses India, said, “Volvo Buses is committed to modernising the public transport landscape and to drive the quality of life for people in India. One of our core values is care for environment and our buses epitomise this. The association with Axalta is in line with this core value.
