Mumbai, January 24, 2014: Axalta Coating Systems in India received the Best Performance Award from Tata Marcopolo Motors Ltd, an India-based joint venture between Tata Motors and Marcopolo S.A. of Brazil. This is the third consecutive year that Tata Marcopolo selected Axalta Coating Systems for its award out of its pool of suppliers, acknowledging Axalta’s commitment to provide consistent, high-performance coatings solutions.

“We are very proud to receive this prestigious award,” said Vinay Rajadhyaksha, MD, Axalta Coating Systems India. “The award recognizes the close collaboration between Tata Marcopolo and our team. We look forward to strengthening our successful partnership by offering distinguished and innovative services to support Tata Marcopolo’s growth.”

The award was based on the parameters of safety, delivery, quality, cost and service. Vinay K Pathak, CEO, Tata Marcopolo, said: “It is with great pleasure that we grant this award to the Axalta team.
