The first fortnight of March was a truly exciting one what with Tata Motors wowing Geneva with its snazzy Racemo sports coupe, Suzuki Motor Corp revealing the next-generation Swift hatchback, PSA Group acquiring Vauxhall and Opel, and the big announcement that Skoda Auto would take the lead in the Tata Motors-Volkswagen Group collaboration. There’s also Hormazd Sorabjee’s interview with Carlos Ghosn, chairman of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, where he outlines his plans to revive Mitsubishi in India, among other issues.  

Then, in an exclusive and candid interview to Autocar Professional, Baba N Kalyani, chairman and MD of Bharat Forge, reveals how the world’s largest forging company is preparing to cater to the automotive industry which is increasingly getting digital and moving away from conventional mobility solutions and technologies.
