Audi India today opened its new dealership facility in the Delhi-NCR region – Audi Gurugram — where it also showcased the India-bound all-wheel-drive, electric Audi e-tron SUV. The luxury carmaker also launched digital services for customers and dealer partners, under its Digitalisation strategy.

"Our 'Varsprung durch Technik' is truly on display. The state-of-the-art Audi Gurugram showroom, Audi's Digital Retail elements and the Audi e-tron, all epitomise a new era of technology and advancement," said Rahil Ansari, Head Audi India.

"With the inauguration of our world-class showroom in Gurgaon, we are strengthening our market presence for further capturing market share in North India. The new setup boasts Audi's digital retail elements that transforms purchase into a seamless experience. The Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology enables complete visualisation and customisation right at the customer's fingertips. With the Virtual Reality Studio, Audi cars can now be viewed realistically with accurate details. The strategic location of the Audi Gurugram showroom will cater to a larger audience all over this region and we are pleased to associate with the highly experienced team of Kristan Auto in expanding our presence here," added Ansari.

Audi Gurugram, spread across 10,500 square feet, has a 21-car display including 14 Audi Approved: plus car display. The carmaker has also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements at the showroom that enable the customer experience the look and feel of the Audi car being configured. The company also has a service facility in Gurgaon spread over 48,000 square feet and housing 33 bays and state-of-the-art body shop facilities.

"We want to create a new benchmark with the highly innovative path that Audi India is laying. We are proud that the launch of Audi Gurgaon happens with the launch of such innovative digital features in sales as well as aftersales. We are confident that our customers will have a truly luxurious experience at Audi Gurugram," said Vijay Passi, Audi Gurugram (Kristan Auto).

"We are proud to showcase the Audi e-tron in the Delhi-NCR region, which not only leads in luxury car sales but also in luxury trends and adapting to new technology. Our limited showcase so far and internal assessment has shown palpable excitement amongst Audi enthusiasts and we are confident that Audi e-tron will roll into India towards the latter part of the year," added Ansari.

Driving in digitalisation
The luxury carmaker today also introduced a host of tech-driven, new-age solutions for customers and dealer-partners under its Digitalisation strategy. The standout element is the 'myAudi Connect' app, which gives complete information of the car on a real-time basis to the customer with features like time-based curfew notifications and disturbance notification which alerts customers in the event of any incident with the car. The app also complements the lifestyle of the Audi owner by bringing a host of lifestyle features and offers; it also helps Audi dealers keep control over their complete fleet.

Audi has also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements that give customers a look and feel of the car that can be configured before the purchase. Further, customers will now be able to purchase genuine Audi merchandise directly online from the Audi shop online.

"Digitalisation is one of our key pillars and the future for us. The digitalisation initiatives introduced today are designed to enhance the customer's experience through all his stages of interaction across brand touch-points,” added Ansari.
