Bangalore, May 14, 2013: ANSYS India held a 2013 ANSYS Convergence conference in Bangalore recently. The keynote address at the two-day conference was by Prof. Gautam Biswas, Director of CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur.
Around 1,200 people attended this year’s conference including designers, engineers, analysts, managers and executives who came together to share simulation experiences, best practices and tips and tricks while gaining insight into the company’s product road maps and the company’s overall strategy.
Highlights of the conference were keynote presentations from ANSYS management and industry-leading executives, user presentations showcasing ways in which customers are using ANSYS solutions to resolve challenging problems, ANSYS technology demonstrations from technical services and support staff, and opportunities to meet with ANSYS hardware and software partners and discuss how their solutions improve product development processes.
Speaking at the event, Belur Anand, director (sales), ANSYS India, said: “This year’s ANSYS Convergence conference proved to be a huge opportunity for exchanging ideas and improving engineering simulation skills for computer-aided engineering experts and other thought leaders. Our goal is to encourage early and frequent use of simulation technology in product development so that organisations gain comprehensive insights and flexibility to realise 'better products' faster”.
