Ampere Vehicles opens 23 new dealerships in Q4 of CY2019
Greaves Cotton says that Ampere Vehicles has sold over 50,000 electric scooters in the last 10 years.
Ampere Vehicles, the electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton has expanded its distribution network with 23 new dealerships across the country since September 2019.
The company says that this dealerships will sport the complete range of Ampere's existing and new electric vehicle offering in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. At present, Ampere’s e-scooters range include hi-speed ‘Zeal’ - along with medium to low-speed models V-48 LA, Magnus 60, Reo LA and REO Li.
Commenting on the expansion, Nagesh Basavanhalli, MD and CEO, Greaves Cotton said, “We have embarked on an exciting journey to establish Greaves Cotton as a complete automobile ecosystem player. Greaves Cotton says that Ampere Vehicles has sold over 50,000 electric scooters in the last 10 years. To mark the milestone, Ampere vehicles has announced a host of consumer-friendly offers including free insurance scheme for high-speed ‘Zeal’ electric scooter besides the FAME II benefit and free accessories up to Rs 1,000 on other vehicle models.
