Amaze leads Honda charge, sales up 150 percent in November 2013
December 3, 2013: Honda Cars India has sold 9,332 units of domestic sales in November 2013 as against 3,711 units sold in November 2012, a growth of 151 percent.
Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice-president – marketing & sales, Honda Cars India, said, “Led by strong demand for the Amaze, HCIL has experienced robust sales month after month since April 2013. During November 2013, our sales grew up by 151 percent.
The company’s sales are up 70 percent in the April- November 2013 period with 80,163 units as against 47,236 units during the corresponding period last year. On the export front, 806 units went to overseas destinations. Last month, Honda unveiled the all-new four-generation City in India. The saloon will be launched in both diesel and petrol form in January 2014.
