ACMA, Hero MotoCorp join hands for EV Technology Expo
Over 35 auto component manufacturers participated in the EV Expo and showcased their latest technological innovations.
The Automotive Component Manufacturer's Association of India (ACMA) has joined hands with two-wheeler major, Hero MotoCorp, for EV Technology Expo between June 8 -9 in Jaipur.
Over 35 auto component manufacturers participated in the EV Expo and showcased their latest technological innovations in the BMS, thermal management system, charger & charging systems and many other domain.
Inaugurating the event, Arun Jaura, CTO, Hero MotoCorp, said, “This Expo is an extension of our commitment to ‘Make in India’ and promote the country as a global manufacturing base for future technologies. This ensures India’s self-reliance, reduces dependence on imports and naturally provides wider e-mobility options for everyone. Sustainability is pillar of our strategy and e-mobility will be an important lever in our journey.”
This is the first time that ACMA has organised a tech show completely dedicated to EV components. Speaking on the focus of the initiative, Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA explained, “The transformation is very pronounced in two-wheelers and three-wheeler segments. As we move towards mass adoption of EVs and electrification of fleet, it is an opportune time for ACMA members to contribute to creation of a robust EV component ecosystem and ACMA is committed towards this endeavor.”
