Nissan Motor Company is to recall around 250,000 cars globally. According to a Nissan India spokesperson, the recall doesn’t include India. However, 9,660 made-in-India Micras are part of the recall in Europe.

All the recalled Micras are with petrol engines. The recall is to fix a mechanical glitch in the fuel system in the engines that could lead to a fuel leak in extreme cases. The recall includes the Juke, Infiniti M, Micra, Tiida, and Serena minivans produced in various locations. No accident or injury has been reported due to the fault, according to the company spokesperson.
