Scooter sales, however, were down 3.6 percent YoY at 99,007 units in June 2019 compared to 102,763 units in June 2018

TVS Motor Co has reported domestic market sales of 226,279 units in June 2019 as against sales of 246,176 units in June 2018, a year-on-year decrease of 8 percent.

Domestic market two-wheeler sales of motorcycle grew by 1.94 percent with sales increasing from 128,825 units in June 2018 to 131,331 units in June 2019.  Scooter sales, however, were down 3.6 percent YoY at 99,007 units in June 2019 compared to 102,763 units in June 2018. The Jupiter is the prime contributor to TVS scooter sales and is the longstanding No. 2 in the Indian market after the Honda Activa.
