TVS Motor expands ASEAN retail footprint with new showroom in Singapore

Two-wheeler major eyes demand for premium motorcycles in Singapore; partners leading local distributor Motorsport Pte to retail Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR motorcycles.

TVS Motor expands ASEAN retail footprint with new showroom in Singapore

TVS Motor Company today inaugurated its first TVS Experience Centre in Singapore, thereby expanding its retail footprint in the ASEAN region. The new showroom will offer a range of premium motorcycles including the flagship Apache RR310 and Apache RTR range.

TVS has partnered with ‘Motorsport Pte of the Chong Aik Group, which will be the distributor for the Singapore market. Motorsport Pt, which has a strong presence in the region with six retail outlets and eight warehouses, has exclusive distributorship for over 40 brands and is also a stockiest for genuine parts, apparels and motorcycle accessories.

Along with the premium Apache series of motorcycles, TVS plans to introduce other products too, catering to both personal commuting as well as the delivery premium segment in Singapore. The Singapore outlet will also have a vehicle servicing facility, spare parts and a comprehensive range of merchandise.

In the ongoing fiscal, TVS Motor Co has sold a total of 1,566,184 two-wheelers in India in the April-October 2022 period, up 32% YoY. On the export front, the company has shipped 616,167 units, down 4 percent in the first seven months of FY2023.
