TVS Eurogrip exhibits off-highway tyre range at ConExpo in Las Vegas

Indian tyre major uses the platform of the largest construction industry trade show in North America to target new business opportunities in Latin American markets.

Srichakra Tyres and TVS Eurogrip, which manufacture tyres for two- and three-wheelers as well as for off-highway vehicles, was among the many global players who participated in the CONEXPO-CON/AGG, the largest construction show in North America and held in Las Vegas from March 13-18.  

The Indian tyre major was among the over 2,400 exhibitors from the trucking, hauling, lifting, earthmoving, concrete, aggregates and asphalt companies from 36 countries which showcased their products over 3 million square feet of exhibit space.

TVS Eurogrip, which has been making significant investments in technology, products and capacity expansion of its off-highway tyres for construction, industrial and agricultural applications, displayed the latest products from its construction and industrial range apart from the recent agri radial and steel-belted flotation radial range. For the company, whose products are available in 85 countries worldwide, the USA is one of the important markets for off-highway tyre business.  

The company states that the off-highway vehicle tyre market is a strategic focus segment and it is geared up to strengthen and increase its global footprint on this front. Apart from demonstrating its innovation in tyre technology and development, TVCS Eurogrip’s display “garnered very positive feedback from all its North America customers and has been a platform to reach out to new distributors for few key Latin American markets.”

TVS Srichakra, which manufactures the Eurogrip, TVS Eurogrip and TVS Tyres brands of tyres, is ranked as one of India’s leading producers and exporters of two- and three-wheeler tyres and also off-highway tyres. Headquartered in Madurai, TVS Srichakra has manufacturing facilities in Madurai (Tamil Nadu) and Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) with a production capacity of over 3 million tyres a month. The company, which has a design centre in Milan, Italy that supports the R&D centre in Madurai, tests its tyres in Indian, European, and Japanese road conditions. In India, the company has a significant market share amongst the original equipment manufacturers and replacement markets and has a comprehensive network of distributors and dealers across the country.
