Toyota Motor Europe announces executive changes, effective 1 January 2024
Effective 1 January 2024, Scott Thompson replaces Agustin Martin.

Toyota Motor Europe (TME) announces today that Scott Thompson has been appointed President & MD at its UK affiliate, Toyota (GB) PLC. He joins from KINTO Europe as Vice President Operations, Business Development and Technology, concurrently assigned as Vice President Mobility in TME.
Effective 1 January 2024, he replaces Agustin Martin, currently President and MD at Toyota (GB) PLC, whose next appointment will be communicated at a later date.
Toyota Motor Europe oversees the wholesale sales and marketing of Toyota, GR (Gazoo Racing) and Lexus vehicle parts and accessories, as well as Toyota's European manufacturing and engineering operations.
Toyota directly employs over 25,000 people and has manufacturing plants in Portugal, UK, France, Poland, Czech Republic and Turkey.
