Top 10 UK auto tech firms to participate in Electric & Hybrid / Battery Show
Ten of the UK’s leading automotive technology companies confirmed for the UK Pavilion at Europe’s largest advanced battery trade fair, to be held from May 7-9, in Stuttgart.
A delegation of 10 leading automotive technology companies have confirmed their participation on the UK Pavilion at Europe’s largest trade fair for advanced battery, hybrid and electric vehicle technology this May.
Taking place in Stuttgart, Germany, on 7-9 May, the 'Britain is Great'pavilion, managed by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), will form an integral element of the Electric & Hybrid / Battery Show. As the largest event of its kind in Europe, the UK delegation will showcase their next generation solutions and services along the entire H/EV supply chain, including electrical powertrains and components, battery management systems, materials, testing and recycling.
“With many native technology developers, suppliers and vehicle manufacturers, Germany remains an important market in the global automotive industry,” comments Ian Constance, chief executive of the Advanced Propulsion Centre. “It is therefore important that UK companies are highly visible and properly represented at key events such as the Electric & Hybrid Battery Show so that they can develop new partnerships which help secure investment, create and safeguard UK jobs and anchor the automotive supply chain in the UK.”
Since 2016, the APC has successfully supported 233 companies through its international events programme at 23 key events around the world including Japan, China, the USA and Germany. In addition to a host of networking and strategic business development benefits, companies previously participating in the programme have secured orders worth up to £1.5 million annually.
Of the 10 companies exhibiting on the UK Pavilion, five have previously participated in similar events with the APC. Further details of the technologies that will be on display on the UK Pavilion will be announced in due course while the full list of participants is as follows:
- AMTE Power
- Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions

The UK Pavilion, which is part of the Government’s GREAT Business campaign, is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
