Tata Motors Group sells 278,915 units globally in Q3 FY2021, up 37% over Q2
As with all automobile firms, the Group was badly hit by the impact of Covid-19 and various lockdown measures, but the sales momentum is back.
Tata Motors has announced improved numbers for the third quarter of the fiscal year, bettering the second quarter of FY2021. Tata Motors Group global wholesales in October-December 2020, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 278,915 units, higher by 1%, as compared to Q3 FY2020.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q3 FY2021 were at 90,365 units, lower by 4%, over Q3 FY2020.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q3 FY2021 were at 188,550 units, higher by 4% as compared to Q3 FY2020.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 119,658 vehicles (including Chery JLR volumes of 17,078 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 22,466 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 97,192 vehicles.
