Tata Motors Group global wholesales up 14% in August 2018

Tata Motors’ Group global wholesales in August 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, was 107,030 units, up 14 percent, as compared to August 2017.

Tata Motors’ Group global wholesales in August 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, was 107,030 units, up 14 percent, as compared to August 2017.

The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in August 2018 was 45,719 units, a growth of 29 percent YoY. While the global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in August 2018 was up by 4 percent (YoY) at 61,328 units.

For Jaguar Land Rover the global wholesales came at 42,658 vehicles (*JLR number for August 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 4,106 units). 

Jaguar wholesales for the month was 14,209 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 28,449 vehicles.

*CJLR – It is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR
