Tata Motors Group's global sales up 5 percent in February

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in February 2015, including Jaguar Land Rover, at 83,951 units, grew by 5 percent over February 2014.

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in February 2015, including Jaguar Land Rover, at 83,951 units, grew by 5 percent over February 2014. Cumulative wholesales for this fiscal at 877,968 units lower by 4 percent over the last fiscal. 

Global sales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in February 2015 at 31,474 units constitute a growth of 8 percent over February 2014. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for this fiscal are 339,355 units, lower by 14 percent over the last fiscal.   

Global sales of all passenger vehicles in February 2015 at 52,477 units grew by 3 percent, compared to February 2014 numbers. Cumulative passenger vehicles sales for this fiscal are 538,613 units, an increase of 4 percent over the last fiscal. 

Global sales of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles in February 2015 were at 13,936 units higher by 18 percent over February 2014. The company’s cumulative sales for the fiscal at 122,227 units are lower by 8 percent, compared to the last fiscal. 

Global sales for Jaguar Land Rover for the month are 38,541 vehicles, compared to 39,011 vehicles in February 2014. Jaguar wholesales for the month are 6,448 vehicles and cumulative wholesales are 68,164 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 32,093 vehicles and cumulative wholesales are 348,222 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for this fiscal are 416,386 vehicles, higher by 8 percent over the last fiscal.
