PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor has officially launched the 2019 New Suzuki Carry.
The new Suzuki Carry is 4195mm long, 1675mm wide (wide deck: 1765mm), and 1,870mm tall (wide deck: 1910mm).
New Suzuki Carry can transport more cargo with a maximum capacity of 1 tonne, the wider ‘tub’ can accommodate more items and can be opened from three sides.
The new SCV’s K15B-C, four-cylinder, 1462cc engine, mated to a five-speed transmission, develops 97ps of maximum power at 5600rpm and 135Nm torque at 4400rpm.
Wider cabin can accommodate up to 3 people, has audio and AC, and many storage areas with additional compartments.

Suzuki launches new 2019 Carry small CV in Indonesia

Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Indonesian subsidiary, PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor, has officially launched the 2019 New Suzuki Carry. The highlights of the latest Suzuki Carry small commercial vehicle are more cargo capacity, increased comfort and improved performance.

The new Suzuki Carry comes in three colours – Superior White, Silky Silver and Real Black and is priced at Rp. 135.6 Million (Rs 669,898) for FD type, Rp. 144.1 million (Rs 711,270) for FD AC / PS type, Rp. 136.6 million (Rs 674,250) for the WD type, and Rp. 145.1 million (Rs 716,206) for the WD AC / PS type.

 The new Suzuki Carry is 4195mm long, 1675mm wide (wide deck: 1765mm), and 1,870mm tall (wide deck: 1910mm). The new SCV’s K15B-C petrol, four-cylinder, 1462cc engine, mated to a five-speed transmission, develops 97ps of maximum power at 5600rpm and 135Nm torque at 4400rpm. Suspension duties are handled by a MacPherson strut in front and a leaf rigid axle at the rear. The vehicle, which is shod with 165/80R13 tyres, has a 43-litre fuel tank.

According to PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor, the new Suzuki Carry can transport more cargo with a maximum capacity of 1 tonne, the wider ‘tub’ can accommodate more items and can be opened from three sides. The driver cabin too is wider and can accommodate up to three people.

PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor is targeting sales of 70,000 units in the first year of sales. In Fy2018, the small truck segment had an approximately 10% share in the Indonesian automobile market, and for Suzuki in Indonesia, small trucks account for nearly half of its sales. Suzuki says it will export the new Carry to nearly 100 countries and regions from Indonesia.

In India, the Maruti Super Carry small CV is seeing growing demand. In FY2019, it help Maruti Suzuki India grow its CV market share by 4 percentage points to 10 percent, with sales of 23,874 units, up 137 percent year on year, albeit on a low year-ago base. The company also exported 2,251 units of the Super Carry to some African countries.
