Schaeffler wins GM’s Supplier of the Year award for the third time
Schaeffler, which manufactures high-precision components and systems for powertrain and chassis applications as well as rolling and plain bearing solutions, wins the award for the third time.
General Motors has recognised technology company Schaeffler as a 2022 Supplier of the Year. GM recently celebrated honorees at its 31st annual Supplier of the Year event in San Antonio, Texas.
GM’s Supplier of the Year award recognises global suppliers that distinguish themselves by exceeding GM’s requirements, in turn providing customers with innovative technologies and among the highest quality in the automotive industry. This is the third time Schaeffler has received the award.
Schaeffler manufactures high-precision components and systems for powertrain and chassis applications as well as rolling and plain bearing solutions for a large number of industrial applications.

Each year, GM’s Supplier of the Year recipients are selected by a global, cross-functional GM team for their performance in criteria such Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales and Logistics
