Opel and Vauxhall renew partnership with GEFCO for another 4 years
The contract will extend GEFCO’s existent four-year partnership with the two brands for fourth party logistics (4PL) services.
GEFCO, a France-based leading automotive logistics service provider, is renewing a contract with Opel/Vauxhall for a period of four year starting on January 1, 2019. The contract will extensively leverage GEFCO’s fourth-party logistics (4PL) services. This contract covers all inbound and outbound logistics for Opel/Vauxhall in Europe and Turkey. GEFCO will distribute parts to Opel/Vauxhall assembly plants from supplier sites worldwide. The group will also deliver vehicles to dealers and importers.
GEFCO intends to strengthen its teams of engineers in the six countries where Opel/Vauxhall operates in Europe (France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom).
