Ola expand operations in Sydney
Ola expands operations in Australia. Sydney becomes the second city where Ola begins service from today.
Domestic cab-hailing service Ola, today announced that it has officially started operations in Sydney, Australia. The company said it has hired a local team for building partnerships and provide support to driver-partners.
Ola stated that it will provide introductory offer along with free rides for the customers in Sydney from today. On February 22, the company started its operations in Perth, Australia, for which it claims to have received a strong response from driver-partners with over 7,000 registrations.
Chandra Nath, vice president, head of international, Ola said, “We are excited to officially start operating on the east coast with the launch in Sydney. We’ve been very pleased with how the service has been received by customers, driver-partners and the community in Perth, and can’t wait to continue building on these experiences and learnings for our second city launch.”
The company said in the coming weeks, it will continue to roll out a number of new initiatives for both customers and driver-partners. For customers the offers includes – new promotions, clear ways to share feedback, and a higher-quality ride. While for driver-partners it includes – new earnings programs, community town-halls, fuel offers and other vehicle services – alongside 24/7 partner support.
