MG Motor UK adds five new partners to dealer network

MG Motor UK recently added five new partners in July to its dealer network as it continues to drive towards its goal of establishing a full national network of 120 sites in the UK by 2020.

The latest additions to the MG network are Crayford & Abbs in north Norfolk, Thomas & Davies in Merthyr Tydfil, McMillan Motors in Greenock, Jermyn & Sons in Seaford, East Sussex and FG Barnes in Canterbury. All five sites joined MG’s rapidly-growing network in July, taking MG’s dealership network up to a total of 81 sites.

Network expansion is one of MG’s two key strategic pillars for volume growth in the UK, the second being new model launches. The next new model launch will be New MG3 which goes on sale in September.

MG has staked claims as one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in the UK with first-half sales increasing by 115 percent. MG also announced the opening of a new sales and marketing showroom in Marylebone, London, a clear indication of the brand’s commitment to growth in the UK.

Daniel Gregorious, head of sales and marketing at MG Motor UK, commented, “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome five new dealerships to the MG network. I’m certain that our five new dealers will successfully introduce our value-for-money cars, long warranties and great finance offers to their local communities.”
