American car major FCA recently hosted its Annual Supplier Conference and recognised its top global suppliers for their contribution to the company's success. Among the list of awardees, Dana and Magna were recognised at the event held on July 15, 2019, in Detroit, Michigan.

Dana
Dana was one of the 19 supplier partners to have received the recognition of FCA's Supplier of the Year award. James Kamsickas, Dana president and CEO said, “Dana is honoured to be among the very select 19 suppliers to have earned the 'Supplier of the Year' award by FCA.  Our supply relationship with FCA dates back nearly a century, and we are proud of the longstanding partnership and collaboration that this award represents.”
Dana supplies driveline, sealing, thermal management products, and systems to FCA including the Dana ‘Spicer AdvanTek’ axles.

Bob Pyle, president of Dana Light Vehicle Driveline Technologies said, “This award demonstrates the strong collaborative relationship we have with FCA to support one another and to deliver exceptional value and performance for the end customer. It is a great recognition of the efforts of many Dana employees who work hard every day in support of FCA.”

Magna
Magna has been recognised by FCA with the 2018 Interior Supplier of the Year Award. Magna’s interior content to FCA consists of complete seat sets on vehicles such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango and Chrysler Pacifica. Magna has supplied seats for FCA minivans since the automaker invented the segment in the 1980s, and the partnership continues to help make the Pacifica, including the development of Stow ‘n Go seating, an improved version with redesigned seats for easy entry to the third row with added comfort and side support.

Scott Thiele, head of purchasing and supply chain, FCA – North America said, “FCA is in the midst of transformational changes and these suppliers are helping enable a stronger future for all of us. It is an honour to recognise their contributions and dedication, as they represent the best in the industry.”
