Honda Taiwan has crossed the 300,000 unit cumulative automobile production milestone, 13 years after it began production.

The company held a celebratory function at its plant in Pingtung City, which was attended by Takato Ito chairman, Hiroyuki Mannen, president, along with Honda Taiwan associates. The landmark vehicle was a 300,000^th vehicle, a CR-V, which is the best-selling SUV in Taiwan’s history.

Honda Taiwan, which currently has 660 workforce, began assembling cars in 2003 starting with the CR-V, and gradually expanded the production line-up to include the Accord, Civic, Fit, and City. The 300,000 unit cumulative production milestone came 13 years after production began and 4 years after it produced the 200,000^th vehicle.

The company also markets motorcycles which include the NSS300, CBR500R, CB650F, CBR650F, NC750S, NC750X, INTEGRA, CTX700N, CB1100EX, CTX1300 and the Goldwing F6C.
