Asia Pacific Honda, the distributor of Honda’s two-wheelers in Thailand, has launched the new Honda Click 125i, bearing a price tag of 54,700 baht (Rs 114,949), and the bigger-capacity Honda Click 150i, which is priced at 60,200 baht (Rs 126,507).

The Click gets contemporary styling, with its ABS panels designed to lure younger buyers. The key design elements on the scooters include winker LED lights on the front panel, telescopic front suspension, disc brakes and tyres running on alloy wheels. The Honda Click comes packed with technology with the digital console displaying a host of information, including fuel level, time and also putting out warning signs for lubricant change as well as the battery charge indication. The Click features the unique Honda Smart Key, which indicates the location of the vehicle, thus acting as an anti-theft device.

While the Honda Click 150i comes powered by a single-cylinder 150cc SOHC, liquid-cooled petrol engine, the Click 125i is powered by a smaller 125cc engine, which is fundamentally the same, except for its slightly shorter stroke. The engines come mated to a CVT gearbox, making them play in the automatic motorcycle category in the Thailand market, aimed at customers looking for power, convenience and ease of riding at the same time. While the Honda Click 150i comes with tubeless tyres and alloy wheels, the Click 125i also comes in a steel wheel variant.

The colour options on the Honda Click 150i include a grey, black-red and a grey-black combination. On the other hand, the Honda Click 125i offers three colour options in its cast wheel trim, which include a black, red-black and white-black scheme, and gets blue-black and orange-black shades for its alloy wheel variant.

According to Suchart Arunsaengroj, vice-president, AP Honda Company, “The AT motorcycle market in Thailand is considerably large and is growing continuously. Honda, has therefore, never stopped improving the products and always offered new alternatives for our users to have a completely new level of experience. The new models from the Click series will fulfil the demand in terms of the engine power, riding comfort as well as the latest technology invented for practicality. With its latest design, the model is especially created for active urban users who wish to move forward in any situation. The launch will not only cater to the increasing demand in the AT motorcycle category, but, will also strengthen the Click brand with Honda’s eSP Smart Technology in its liquid-cooled engines.”
