Apollo Tyres’ P K Mohamed wins Sustainability Professional of the Year award

This accolade was conferred upon Mr Mohamed at an event held recently in Mauritius.

Mr Mohamed’s achievements and pioneering endeavours in steering Apollo Tyres towards a sustainable future have been nothing short of exemplary. In his current capacity, he oversees the global development of sustainable raw materials, playing a pivotal role in propelling Apollo Tyres to achieve significant milestones in its sustainability journey. Notably, Apollo Tyres has committed to a sustainability roadmap that involves integrating 40% sustainable materials into their production processes by 2030, making a substantial leap towards eco-conscious manufacturing practices. Additionally, the company has set its sights on achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, a testament to their unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship.
