Harrier EV sports the unmistakable Harrier silhouette and rugged presence with its raised bonnet, flared wheel arches, and tall stance. A closed grille upfront is key differentiator to the ICE model.
All-LED lighting at the rear, along with a highlight in the form of the skid plate complete the overall look. No tailpipe and independent rear suspension setup prime Harrier EV attributes.
Conventional fuel port houses the charging socket. Tata Motors claims a range of 622km for the 75kWh AWD version that can also regain up to 250km of range over 15 minutes of DC charging.
Dual-tone cabin gets a premium colour scheme. Panoramic sunroof, memory front seats and dual-zone climate control among comfort-oriented features on offer.
Harrier EV gets electronically-adjustable memory front seats with ventilation function. The front seats also house the side airbags. There’s a knee airbag for the driver as well.
Rear bench is wide to accommodate three occupants and is complemented by a fully-flat floor due to the new acti.ev plus chassis whch eliminates the exhaust tunnel from the rear floor pan.
A monostable selector along with an electronic parking brake and terrain-mode dial form the main controls for the driver. Tata Motors has uniquely positioned the Harrier EV with a dual-motor, AWD.
A multi-purpose electronic IRVM is a first-in-segment offering. The mirror displays rearward action while also doubling up as a two-way dashcam to record front and rear activities in full-HD.
Best-in-segment 14.53-inch infotainment system with Samsung QLED display and Harman HMI is centrepiece of attraction in the Harrier EV which also gets a 10-speaker JBL Black audio setup.
The 14.53-inch infotainment screen also doubles up as the display for the 540-deg transparent view and 360-deg 3D view camera feed that aids the driver in parking as well as manoeuvring the big SUV.
The Harrier EV comes with 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels in the higher trims. Ride quality is aided by frequency-selective damping (FSD) shock absorbers and independent rear suspension.
