India is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of commercial vehicles. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh are the major commercial vehicle manufacturing states in India.

Post the Covid-19 and lockdown impact and with BS6 emission norms kicking in, the Commercial Vehicle Industry has been showing positive recovery trend. The first half of 2022 is expected to be stronger for the Mid-Sized and Heavy Commercial Vehicle Segment. This Pull has been noticed from growth in E-commerce business and infrastructure leading to a strong demand.

With BS6 commercial vehicles now growing, the need arises for  AdBlue for trucks fitted with SCR as OEMs strive to set higher standards for the Indian CV industry while reflecting its commitment to the segment. Quite a few OEMs adapted to SCR in the BS4 period to avoid the sudden technological difference once BS6 was mandated. AdBlue which is popularly known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid in Indian Markets is a fluid to reduce NOx emissions churning out of Diesel vehicles. With BS6 emission norms now in full swing and the growing demand of AdBlue in the commercial vehicles segment, AdBlue is a clean mandate to operate.

AdBlue or as it popularly known, Diesel Exhaust Fluid in Indian Markets does not need an introduction. With BS6 emission norms now in full swing and the growing demand of AdBlue in the commercial vehicles segment, AdBlue has a mandate for clean and green mobility.

The traditional storage methods that include buckets, containers do cater to the aftermarket. However, many a times, this results in spillage, inappropriate use and sheer wastage. To cater to this need of having the right amount of AdBlue filled and to operate with ease, AdBlue Pumps were taken into consideration. Backed by the demand in the DEF market which is influenced by factors such as the increasing average age of vehicles, improving infrastructure, increase in the number of vehicles on the roads, the DEF Pumps is one of the most convenient options to have AdBlue/DEF on the go. The commercial vehicle industry in India is set to grow by 3 fold which means that the need for AdBlue or DEF will only grow substantially.

Considering the fact that Bulk retailing through DEF Pumps are less costly when compared to the conventional buckets and containers, passing on the benefit to the customer as compared to the conventional buckets and containers, they provide convenience in DEF refilling for fleet owners, light commercial vehicles and passenger cars with BS6 diesel engines that are fitted with SCR.

A low investment with high returns module has been successfully implemented in global automotive markets like North America, Europe and the US. Now, India is gearing up too with the Velvex AdBlue Dispensing Systems which are known as Velvex ADS from NPL Bluesky Automotive Pvt Ltd.
