Hyundai Creta outsells Tata Nexon in April-November: Top 30 SUVs, MPVs revealed

India’s No. 1 midsize SUV has a slender lead over the No. 1 compact SUV but the sizeable GST 2.0-driven price cut for the Tata Nexon, which has petrol, diesel, electric and CNG powertrains, should see it drive ahead in the coming months. Four new SUVs, the Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e, and the Maruti Victoris enter the best-sellers’ list.

The utility vehicle segment, which comprises SUVs and MPVs, continues to fire on all cylinders with growth accelerated by the price-slashing GST 2.0 reform that kicked in from end-September. In the current fiscal year’s first eight months, 1.94 million UVs are estimated to have been sold (factory dispatches or wholesales).
