Head of Continental Technical Centre India, Latha Chembrakalam emphasises that competency, risk-taking ability, and a continuous learning mindset are critical to success.

With 32% Women in Workforce, Continental Sees Robotics & SDVs Transform Manufacturing

The representation of women in the workforce is steadily rising, with more women joining organisations across various levels. At German Tier-1 major Continental's technology centre in India, women now comprise 32% of the workforce, reflecting a growing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

According to Latha Chembrakalam, Head, Technical Centre India, Continental Automotive India, "Companies are implementing policies that create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women. From flexible work arrangements to leadership development programs, these initiatives are encouraging more women to take on key roles and advance their careers."

Speaking about career growth, Chembrakalam emphasises that competency, risk-taking ability, and a continuous learning mindset are critical to success. "There is no glass ceiling; the sky is the limit," she says in this exclusive video interview.'
