'India's construction equipment industry set to double by 2030': JCB India's Deepak Shetty
With India eyeing the No. 2 spot in the global tally by 2030, the country's construction equipment industry is set to double in size over the next five years, with the sector anticipated to register double-digit growth next year.
India, which is now the third-largest construction equipment market in the word, is aiming for the No. 2 spot by 2030, and is anticipating robust growth over the next five years.
In this interview, Deepak Shetty, MD and CEO, JCB India, and President Designate, ICEMA, says that the country's construction equipment sector will double in size by 2030, and is poised to register strong double-digit growth both in domestic and exports performance next year.
