Global Tier-1 giant Marelli is embarking on a new growth journey in India with a brand-new Technical R&D Centre commissioned in the country's software capital - Bengaluru. Marelli India's new facility will focus on innovating end-to-end products such as integrated cockpit solutions for cars as well as high-power compute units and large, edge-to-edge displays.

The Bengaluru centre will boost Marelli India's technical and research capabilities by assisting its existing facility in Gurugram, and engineering new platforms in the areas of interior electronics, display systems and smart surfaces for local as well as global markets. It plans to bring its global technologies such as 3D digital clusters, advanced HMIs, and innovative vehicle lighting solutions to its customers in India.

The company, which is already a leader in the domain of automated-manual transmission (AMT) technology in India is also eyeing the future with its innovative drivetrain solutions for electric vehicles.
