Tata Motors CV wholesale slides 3% YoY to 26,579 units in November 2023 amid slowing demand for SCV cargo and pickups

Mumbai-based Tata Motor's domestic commercial vehicle wholesales fell by 3% to 26,579 units during November 2023, as compared to a similar period last year when it registered 27,430 units.

As per the data released by the company, HCV registered 1% growth, with 8,253 units sold during November 2023 as against 8194 units sold during the month of November 2022.

Intermediate, light, and medium commercial vehicle (ILMCV) trucks, on the other hand, reported 4,385 unit sales in November 2023—a jump of 6% as against 4,147 units in November 2022. Passenger carriers recorded 2,130 unit sales in November 2023 as against 2,041 units in November 2022, which is a gain of 4%.

The small commercial vehicle (SCV) cargo and pickup segment registered a drop of 9% to 11,811 units in November 2023 when compared with 13,084 units in November 2022.
